Classic Maiden from The Number Of The Beast Tour.
Playing in Oxford,England back in '82.
Oxford, famous for the University,Inspector Morse and being able to row a boat once a year.
Very nice audience recording here.
The Beast was Maiden's breakthrough album achieved it has to be said through hard work.
Endless touring, not much radio or TV promo for these guys.
This also contains my favourite Maiden track Hallowed Be Thy Name an air guitar classic...Yeah!

Here's a couple from our Bud Buckeye.
Two heavyweight legends of the Rock World for you to enjoy.
Thanks Buck!!

Good soundboard from the Fly On The Wall tour. The dates on the artwork are incorrect (for those of you really care). Disc one is from Austin, TX 10-13-1985 and disc 2 is from Dallas, TX 10-11-85. Originally intended as an official release, but scrapped for some reason. This is the full version, not the one I posted in the CBox.

Tommy Vance

This tape of the Friday Rock Show (BBC Radio 1) was sent by Simon (UK) to Rocket.
Unfortunately it was during his sabbatical so nothing happened with it.
NOTE: This Is True. Also, I'd Be Lyin' If I Said I Didn't Drop It in One Of My Computer Desk Drawers and Forget About It For Quite A While, Too!

Then his tape player died and went to the audio graveyard.
ANOTHER NOTE: Went The Same Way As My 8-Track a Few Years Ago!
Cut to the chase, he sent it to me for transfer which I've done. (THANKS smoker!)
EVEN ANOTHER NOTE: Yeah, It Started In The UK, Then To HRC, Then Back To The UK!  Across The Ocean TWICE - In Just Under a Year!!!!
It's a compilation of four shows from early '93 I believe,edited down to 90mins.
Interestingly it features a little of the very last show Tommy Vance presented.
So the tape's been sent 1000's of miles and now it's here for you to enjoy.

Hey it 's the HRC way!!
(Simon if you want your tape back drop me a line)
I've also added another couple of shows for those who dig it.

From The Delta* Came The "Swamp Music" Called The BLUES!
And Mixed With Rock N Roll - You Get a Boogie-Type-Bastardized Version!

* From Wiki:
The Delta blues is one of the earliest styles of blues music. It originated in the Mississippi Delta, a region of the United States that stretches from Memphis, Tennessee in the north to Vicksburg, Mississippi in the south, Helena, Arkansas in the west to the Yazoo River on the east. The Mississippi Delta area is famous both for its fertile soil and its poverty. Guitar, harmonica and cigar box guitar are the dominant instruments used, with slide guitar (usually on the steel guitar) being a hallmark of the style. The vocal styles range from introspective and soulful to passionate and fiery. Delta blues is also regarded as a regional variation of country blues.

STYX-Man Sent This Hendrix Vinyl Rip in to HRC!
A posthumous LP release from 1975...

From Wiki:
Crash Landing was the first release produced by Douglas, and immediately caused controversy. The liner notes of the album indicated that Douglas used several session musicians, none of whom had ever even met Hendrix, to re-record or overdub guitar, bass, drums, and percussion on the album, erasing the contributions of the original musicians and changing the feel of the songs (Hendrix' vocals and guitar contributions were retained). This was evidently done to give a finish to songs that were works in progress or may have been recorded as demos. Douglas also added female backing vocals to the title track. The album peaked at #5 in the U.S. and #35 in the UK, the highest chart positions since The Cry of Love.
Original Sessions:
Jimi Hendrix – guitars, lead vocals, backing vocals
Buddy Miles – drums on tracks 1, 6, backing vocals on tracks 1 and 6
Billy Cox – bass on tracks 1, 6 and 8, backing vocals on tracks 1 and 6
Juma Sultan – percussion on track 1
    Added in 1975:
    • Jimmy Maeulen – percussion on tracks 1, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8
    • Jeff Mironov – guitars on tracks 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7
    • Allan Schwartzberg – drums on tracks 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8
    • Bob Babbitt – bass on tracks 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7
    • Linda November – backing vocals on track 3
    • Vivian Cherry – backing vocals on track 3
    • Barbara Massey – backing vocals on track 3
